These actors are almost done serving the country and we indeed can't wait for their return. We bet, millions of their fans worldwide have been waiting for them, and finally, the long wait is almost over!
Without further ado, know these three much-anticipated Korean actors who will be discharged from the military soon!
Lee Jong Suk
Discharge date: January 2, 2021
South Korean actor and model Lee Jong Suk was born on September 14, 1989. The 31-year-old actor started his career in the entertainment industry in 2005 as a runway model and was tagged as the youngest male model ever to participate in Seoul Fashion Week.
His breakout role was through the drama "School 2013." He was also famous for his roles in "I Can Hear Your Voice" (2013), "Doctor Stranger" (2014), "Pinocchio" (2014), "W: Two Worlds" (2016), "While You Were Sleeping" (2017), "The Hymn of Death" (2018), and "Romance is a Bonus Book" (2019).
Lee Jong suk mandatory military service started on March 8, 2019. However, he was found unfit to enlist as an active-duty soldier since he was previously involved in a car accident when he was 16, wherein he tore his anterior cruciate ligament. As a result, he was confirmed to work as a public service officer.
Park Hyung Sik

South Korean singer, actor, and dancer Park Hyung Sik is known as Hyungsik, was born on November 16, 1991. The multitalented celebrity is a member of the South Korean K-pop boy group, ZE:A and its sub-group ZE:A Five. When he entered the world of acting, he became well known for his portrayal in numerous dramas such as "The Heirs" (2013), "High Society" (2015), "Hwarang: The Poet Warrior Youth" (2016), "Strong Girl Bong-soon" (2017), and "Suits" (2018).
The idol and also actor has officially enlisted for his mandatory military service last June 10, 2019. He previously revealed that he was inspired to join the Capital Defense Command after receiving compliments for his shooting skills while training for the variety show, Real Man.
Hong Jong Hyun
Discharge date: June 17, 2021
South Korean actor and model Hong Jong Hyun was born on February 2, 1990. The 30-year-old actor started his career way back in 2007 as a professional model and made his acting debut the following year (2008). He was seen in the dramas "Oh! My Lady" (2010), "Vampire Idol" (2011), "Jeon Woo-chi" (2012), and "Dating Agency: Cyrano" (2013). He then enlisted for his mandatory service on December 2, 2019.
