Not all K-dramas have a clear ending, and at times, the finales are just so horrible that they leave us hanging, prompting us to appeal for a second season to satisfy our expectations. And with the K-dramas below, thinking of their much-deserved sequel has been long overdue and kind of feel it's a wishful thinking, especially during these trying times.
We may not yet have the answer whether these TV shows will air a second season or not, but knowing it's not just you who hopes for it is, in a way, comforting.
Check out these K-dramas that deserve a second season.
SBS's "Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo" (2016)
The historical-fantasy drama has a thrilling plot and a memorable journey of the lead characters from beginning to end. "Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo" was one of the top-rated dramas in 2016 that until now, it gains favorable reviews and hopes for a sequel.
Lee Joon Gi, IU, Kang Ha Neul, Hong Jong Hyun, and many more, these actors really did moved the hearts of the viewers, not to mention that the OSTs remain memorable even to this day (cue: EXO-CBX'S "For You").
SBS's "Vagabond" (2019)
Who are we kidding if we say that this action-filled and suspenseful TV series doesn't deserve Season 2? It's captivating, and Lee Seung Gi and Suzy's chemistry as partners in fighting for justice is such a huge bonus to the viewers. Plus, the plot, cinematography, star-studded cast's performance are all in all breathtaking.
The only problem? The ending that left our mouth agape. It definitely needs a second season!
tvN's "Crash Landing On You" (2019)
No further explanation needed!
Who would not agree to fall in love again with "BinJin Couple" (Hyun Bin and Son Ye Jin) in season 2? Fans around the world have many good reasons why "Crash Landing On You" deserves a sequel, and that includes you.

The drama presents the right dose of rom-com, heartwarming gestures, witty dialogues, and of course, enough action to fill in between. Each episode ended with a cliffhanger that made us restless for the rest of the week until the next one aired and took us off the edge once again!
tvN's "Hotel Del Luna" (2019)
What exactly happened to Man Wol (IU), Koo Chan Sung (Yeo Jin Goo), and the rest of the group? Did they ever reunite after they were reborn to the waking life? We still have so many questions after "Hotel del Luna" ended. Hence, we need a second season!
But in case you haven't seen it and if ghost stories are within your preferences, perhaps this is what you are looking for. Seeing IU way opposite as Man Wol's quirky character is entertaining and addictive.
But in all seriousness, a sequel means giving Man Wol and Koo Chan Sung's romance a second chance. We'd really love to witness another appealing cinematography, great cast in one, and amazing OSTs!
