Choi Jae Hyun, who captivated fans with his wacky and playful portrayal Seo Tae-woong on the recently concluded JBTC drama "Run On," shares his insights about being a part of the show.
In "Run On," Choi Jae Hyun plays Seo Tae-woong, younger half-brother to Seo Dan Ah played by Girls Generation member Choi Sooyoung. Aside from being a sibling to the strong and decisive sports agency CEO, Tae-woong is also the leader of an idol group in the series, enjoying the love and admiration of fans everywhere.
However, aside from his upbeat charms and playful appearances, he actually holds a sadness, which Choi Jae-hyun managed to get across, getting sympathy from the audience as the show progressed.
About the statement of the successful JBTC drama, Choi Jae-hyun said: ""I am the first to thank director Lee Jae-hoon for leading the scene better than anyone else and writer Park Si-hyun for giving me a chance to participate in this precious work."
"I think it was an honor and good luck to be able to be in the same work as my seniors and fellow actors who I usually really liked," Jae-hyun adds, noting how the Glorious Entertainment talent won't forget the people who worked hard for the show.
"All the moments I spent filming were precious, and this work is one of the most memorable works in particular," the young actor affectionately added.
Fans are now eagerly awaiting the next move in Choi Jae Hyun's career after witnessing his development as an actor over the course of "Run On." He managed to display his versatility from the fun and quirky exchanges with her older half-sister Seo Dan-Ah, charming his fans as a K-Pop idol, to addressing his personal issues and grow after.
'Run On" aired on JBTC for South Korean audiences and was made available worldwide through the streaming service Netflix. It follows the story of Ki Seon-gyeon (played by Im Si-wan), a former sprinter and a talent under Seo Dan-Ah's sports agency, and Oh Mi-joo (played by Shin Se-kyung), a subtitle translator. It has recently aired its last episode last Thursday, February 4.
