Jeong Jaehyun, better known as the NCT member Jaehyun, makes his acting debut as one of the lead characters on "Dear.M," set to stream on Rakuten Viki on Feb. 27.
In the new teen K-Drama, Jaehyun is one of four high school friends who set out to uncover a mystery about their school, Seoyeon University. As they unravel the secrets of the University, they also start unraveling secrets about each other.
"Campus life at Seoyeon University has always been relatively peaceful, but when an anonymous post pops up on the school's online community by a mysterious individual known as "M," the entire campus is flipped upside down," a teaser for the show reveals.
Jaehyun plays the role of sophomore Computer Science student Cha Min Ho, who teams up with Business Administration student Ma Joo A (portrayed by Park Hye Soo), Economics major Seo Ji Min (portrayed by Noh Jung Ui), and Business Administration major Park Ha Neul (portrayed by Bae Hyeon Seong).

"Dear.M" is actually a spinoff of the hit web series "Love Playlist," which ran on various streaming sites including Playlist Global's Naver V Live, TV Cast, YouTube, Facebook, and Instagram channels. The upcoming series on Rakuten will be directed by Park Jin Woo and Seo Joo Wan.
About NCT's Jaehyun
Born on Valentine's Day in 1997, he later legally changed his name to Jeong Yoon-Oh. Prior to debuting as a member of NCT, he first auditioned for SM Entertainment by performing EXO's "Mama." Upon joining SM Entertainment, he was introduced publicly as a member of the pre-debut group SMROOKIES.
In 2014, he joined the other NCT members in the South Korean reality TV show Exo 90:2014. Two years later, Jaehyun officially debuted as a member of the boy group, under its first subunit NCT U, making his debut with the tracks "The 7th Sense" and "Without You." A few months later, he joined the second subunit NCT 127 with its first extended play album "NCT#127."
Aside from his appearances as a member of NCT and its subunits, Jaehyun has also appeared as an MC for SBS' Inkigayo, together with MONSTA X's Minhyuk and April's Naeun.
