On Dal and Pyeonggang now live and do things like a normal married couple. Even though they are doing it for the sake of escaping the palace, the two are aware of their genuine feelings for each other. Pyeonggang is getting used to doing the household chores, helping her mother-in-law.

Meanwhile in the palace, the king planned to fully give his trust to Go Geon (Lee Ji Hoon) and be the head of the palace guards, but only if he could be friends with his son, the crown prince (Park Sang Hoon). The king wants Go Geon to be the crown prince's teacher and spend more time outside his room.

King Pyeongwon (Kim Pub Lae) was worried about his son because ever since Pyeonggang left the palace, the crown prince changed and doesn't want to do anything other than seeing his sister again.
