Park Hae Jin is acting with the famous actor Zeng Jiang, a famous Chinese actor in the drama "Popcorn" that will be aired in all areas of China through CCTV in 2014.
Zeng Jiang is a well known Chinese actor that was in the "Return to a Better Tomorrow" Series which was the film noir movie in the 1980s in Hong Kong and was in "New Heavenly Sword and Dragon Sabre" and "bury Me High." In the 2000s, he entered Holllywood and filmed "Anna and the King" "Rush Hour 2" and the 007 series "Another Day" as Korean fans are used to him.
Chinese drama "Popcorn" is about Park Hae Jin who is the grandson of a financial group who wants to be a artist yet is forced to enter a bank and is a rookie worker Yook Shin Joon who clashes left and right. Zeng Jiang takes the role of Park Hae Jin's grandfather.
The two showed great chemistry from the beginning. According to the staff members on the scene, Zeng Jiang said to Park Hae Jin who was way younger and said, "You're quite famous" and went over to him first. Zeng Jiang shows a lot of strength and Park Hae Jin has a softer side as the two practice their lines every scene as they grew closer. Park Hae Jin was touched by an actor who was quite older who was so caring.
Zeng Jiang asked Park Hae Jin for his autograph to give his grandson and granddauther and Park Hae Jin said that he was Zeng Jiang's friend as the two were friendly. Their age and the nationality are different but Zeng Jiang was Park Hae Jin's elder and had a lot of advice for him too.
Park Hae Jin said, "He's quite a famous actor in China and I was encouraged to hear so many great things easily. During the action scenes, he was hurt and was slightly uncomfortable but he kept on acting as I was moved by his passion" and showed his gratitude.
Park Jung Ah decided to appear out of friendship despite a busy schedule and thus, Park Hae Jin will finish filming "Popcorn" and return to the TV set with the new SBS Wednesday/Thursday drama "You Who Came From a Star" in December.
