MBN's newest drama "Bossam: Steal the Fate" is a rating success. It recently dropped its premiere episode, and the ratings it was able to garner made history for the network.
'Bossam: Steal the Fate' Premiere Episode Makes History
Based on the data released by Nielsen Korea, the first episode of the new drama, which aired on May 1, has attained an average nationwide rating of 3.132 percent. This is not the highest of ratings among all the shows that ended on the day or on the same timeslot, but it was the highest ever for any premier episode of an MBN drama. That is a mean feat that cannot be underestimated.
Compared to SBS's "Taxi Driver" however, what "Bossam: Steal the Fate" was able to attain is relatively insignificant. "Taxi Driver's" ratings went as high as 15.2%, while another popular drama, "Vincenzo" amassed 11.854 percent. "Taxi Driver" definitely reigned supreme on that time slot.

On the other hand, one can deduce that this is only "Bossam: Steal the Fate's" first episode. The ratings can go even higher in the next episodes. Meanwhile, "Taxi Driver" is naturally peaking, since it is already right in the middle of its run. It's ending by May 29, too so the episodes are increasingly exciting. Fans who are already invested in the plot of "Taxi Driver" would not easily make the switch to a new drama.
"Vincenzo" on May 1, aired its second to the last episode. On May 2, it aired its season finale. Naturally, also, fans would not suddenly stop watching it.
Taking into account these factors, "Bossam: Steal the Fate's" ratings can certainly be deemed as not bad. If you are remotely interested in the show, there are several reasons why you should start watching the show.
Why 'Bossam: Steal The Fate' is Worth Watching
