JTBC's upcoming drama "Monthly House" has released its first-ever teaser. The show's official release is not until next June, but fans can now have a more in-depth look at a possible drama they will stay in tune with for months.

'Monthly House' Drops First Teaser Video

After being announced back in March, fans excited about the show can now enjoy a teaser.

From the teaser, it can be felt that this will be a sweet romance drama between two people unlikely to fall in love, but did.

JTBC's "Monthly House" is a romance drama about a man who buys houses and a woman who lives in houses. But more than that, it revolves around the real-life issue of housing faced by people in South Korea, usually the young graduates.

Na Young Won is the role that Jung So Min took on. Young Won is the editor of Monthly House magazine, where she has worked for 10 years already. However, despite devoting a decade of her life to this job, she still does not own her own home. She currently lives in a monthly rental house.

Despite not permanently going to be hers, the rental house was given care by Young Ha Won as if it is her own. She has an immaculate personality, and this is reflected in how she works and takes care of her home.

Everything changed for her when the new owner of her house, Yoo Ja Sung (Kim Ji Suk), appears in front of her. She then becomes interested in just moving out and buying her own house.

Everything We Know About Jung So Min and Kim Ji Seok's Newest Drama

Yoo Ja Sung, as played by Kim Ji Suk, is the CEO of the lifestyle magazine "Monthly House," who treats houses are just mere assets that secure his wealth. He views houses as mere structures for him to sleep in at night and does not have Na Young Won's motivation to treat the houses with the same sentiment and care.

He views real estate as a money-making machine. He grew up believing that the only way that a person can become rich in South Korea is by making a hefty investment in real estate.

From that realization, he became inspired to just study by day, work part-time at night, and snuck into construction sites on weekends in order to further comprehend the workings of the complicated market.

Yoo Ja Sung quickly became a famous expert in real estate investment. When he gets involved in Na Young Won's life as the new owner of her house, the two did not see eye to eye. But because of Na Young Won, he finds that his beliefs are shaken.

Lee Chang Min is the director of the series. WIth him at the helm, fans can expect that there will surely be some emotional moments and comedy and humor at the same time on this movie.

Myung Soo Hyun is the scriptwriter known for her works on projects featuring the lives of those who are single people and giving insightful concepts. One thing common about these dramas "Ugly Miss Young Ae," "Drinking Solo," and "A Poem A Day" is that their scripts were written by Mung Soo Hyun.
