"Law School" Episode11 Recap: Jeon Ye Seul Gets Support from Fellow Law Students
With only five more episodes left, the legal crime evening drama gets intense as it uncovers the characters' secrets while slowly exposing the true culprit behind Professor Seo Byeong Joo's (Ahn Nae Sang) murder.
The Hankuk University freshman students, especially the group of Kang Sol A (Ryu Hye Young) and Han Joon Hwi (Kim Bum), expressed their support to Jeon Ye Seul (Go Yoon Jung) by helping her and Professor Yang Jong Hoon (Kim Myung Min) with the upcoming trial.
In the previous episode, Kang Sol A raised the argument of self-defense; however, they have to present substantial evidence to win the case.
Moreover, the group also studied the list of candidates who might appear on the public jury, including their occupation, age, and family relationships.
Professor Yang Managed to get Another Evidence for Professor Seo's Case
Amid Ye Seul's trial, Professor Yang is also dealing with his own legal proceeding and his alleged involvement with the Hankuk University murder case.
After he was instructed to pick up a briefcase in a closed-down restaurant, he was surprised upon seeing various items which could be his upper hand with his case.
The former prosecutor turned professor gave this to Han Joo Hwi and said that this would be the critical element to his uncle's death.
Moreover, Professor Yang also linked the evidence to organ trading in the black market.
The Beginning of the Trial
"Law School" episode 11 also follows the first trial of Ye Seul against her boyfriend Ko Young Chang (Lee Hwi Jong) and his powerful father, Assemblyman Ko Hyeong Soo (Jung Won Joong.)
Prior to the court's hearing, the prosecution has selected the jury that would play a vital role in the case.
Surprisingly, Kang Sol A's mother was selected as one of the juries in hopes of getting the participation fee.
On the other hand, Professor Kim Eun Suk (Lee Jung Eun) made sure that Ye Seul is in a proper state before the trial starts.
She reassures her that Young Chang's situation is not her fault but due to a mere accident.
Shortly after, the court officially kicks off with a new prosecutor highlighting that the defendant cheated the victim and accused her of "two-timing" her boyfriend.
To get the sympathy of the jury, the prosecution showed the images of Young Chan, who was severely hurt after the incident. In addition, the camp pointed out that he has suffered grievous bodily harm.
This was opposed by Professor Yang, who was Ye Seul's counsel and claimed that this was all lies.
Moreover, he also insisted that the defendant shouldn't be treated like a criminal until proven guilty.
Lee Man Ho Gets the Upperhand Over Assemblyman Ko
During the season's break, professor Yang witnessed a commotion inside a male restroom. Lee Man Ho is attacking Assemblyman Ko by choking him to death.
However, instead of stopping the vicious criminal, Kim Myung Min told him, "Choke him harder."
"Law School" episode 11 raised the question of why Professor Yang mentioned that to Lee Man Ho or was it just one of his psychological tricks.
