"Youth of May" Episode 8 Highlights

Since its premiere last May 3, the melodrama directed by Song Min Yeop and written by Lee Kang has been making waves due to its exciting story and stunning visuals featuring a nostalgic vibe.

The recent "Youth of May" episode featured Hwang Hee Tae (Lee Do Hyun) and Lee Soo Ryun (Geum Sae Rok), who left Gwangju and transferred to Seoul as their honeymoon home.

All this was instructed by Hee Tae's father, Hwang Gi Nam (Oh Man Suk), who is pushing for the arranged marriage with Lee Chang Geun's family (Uhm Hyo Sub) despite their children's refusal.

As for Kim Myung Hee (Go Min Si), who was abducted by the security forces, she was threatened by Hwang Gi Nam to stay away from his son.

With Hwang Hee Tae in Seoul, she kept herself busy with work and household chores.

Despite the hard decision, she and Hwang Hee Tae opted to part ways to benefit each other's well-being.

"Youth of may" episode 8 also featured an emotional reunion between Kim Myung Hee and Hwang Hee Tae, who returned to Gwangju.

However, Myung Hee stopped Hee Tae from coming close to her, but he confessed that he truly missed her and wanted to be with Myung Hee.

"Can I come closer, Myung Hee?" Hee Tae asked; as soon as she heard this, she went straight to him and hugged her tight.
