After the most awaited comeback for the third season, "Penthouse 3: War in Life" has once again dominated the charts.
In a report cited by a South Korean outlet, the suspense trilogy ranked number 1 in the Weekly Wave Drama Chart for two consecutive weeks.
There's no denying that "Penthouse 3" has been receiving a favorable response from the viewers since the highly anticipated premiere.
To recall, the top rating drama aired its debut for the third season on June 4 and has been topping the charts left and right.
As for its latest episode, the drama reached its highest viewership ratings of any miniseries that aired on week three.
Based on the data released by Nielsen Korea, "Penthouse 3" episode 3 garnered an average nationwide rating of 15.8%, 16.2%, and 17.5% for its three parts.
"Bossam: Steal the Fate" and "Revolutionary Sisters" Completed Top 3 of Weekly Wave Drama Chart
Amid the reign of "Penthouse 3: War in Life," "Bossam: Steal the Fate" took second place at the Weekly Wave Drama Chart.
In addition, the historic-period drama starring Jung Il Woo, Shin Hyun Soo, and Girls' Generation's Yuri has been skyrocketing in terms of viewership, making the drama as MBN's second-highest rating series.
Meanwhile, capping the third spot is KBS' "Revolutionary Sisters," featuring lead stars Hong Eun Hee, Jeon Hye Bin, Go Won Hee, Lee Bo Hee, and more.
Since its debut on Mar 13, the Saturday-Sunday drama has been consistent at the top 10 drama chart and continuing its popularity.
"Running Man" No. 1 in Weekly Wave Entertainment Chart
Moving onto the Weekly Wave Entertainment Chart, the longtime running variety show, "Running Man," topped the chart following Lee Kwang Soo's exit.
After the announcement that the 35-year-old actor is set to leave the show due to health reasons, cast members and even fans expressed their gratitude and how they will miss the "Running Man" mainstay.
Meanwhile, landing in second place is "Omniscient Interfering" hosted by Jun Hyun Moo, Lee Young Ja, comedienne Song Eun Yi and more.
According to the publication, the MBC show climbed up to one notch after it guested the popular girl group Brave Girls.
Lastly, the third spot belonged to SBS "Story of the Day When You Bite Your Tail," also known as "Kokkomu."
