After a week on hiatus, fans are ready to get hooked for one last time as the highly anticipated "Racket Boys" finale airs on August 9.

Initially scheduled on August 2, the SBS previously announced that the last episode would be moved to give way to the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.

Now, there's no stopping the beloved sports drama from giving the audience another round of heartwarming yet thrilling episode featuring Kim Kang Hoon, Choi Hyun Wook, Son Sang Yeon, Tang Jun Sang, Lee Jae In, and more.

'Racket Boys' Cast Bids Farewell to Fans

According to a local outlet, the cast members expressed their thoughts on the much-awaited "Racket Boys" episode 16 featuring the young badminton players of Haenam middle school.

Kim Sang Kyung, who portrays coach Yoon Hyun Jong, spoke about the uniqueness of the SBS drama among other sports K-dramas, saying that it creates a "fresh and good synergy."

Moreover, he also lauded his co-stars alongside screenwriter Jung Bo Hoon and director Jo Young Kwang, adding that "Racket Boys" will always "be a memorable work" for the actor.

The same goes for Oh Na Ra, who portrays coach Ra Young Ja as she described the sports drama as her "happy piece of work" that reminded her a lot about her fun moments with her grandmother.

During the interview, the 46-year-old beauty expressed her desire saying, "I hope it will be remembered for a long time by many people for its work that comforted and cheered me during hard times."

As for the young actors, they also expressed their gratitude for being a part of the "Racket Boys" cast.

Tang Jun Sang, who also gained recognition for the movie "Move to Heaven," is glad to wrap up the production "safely and without getting hurt."

In the drama, he plays the talented and very eager badminton player Yoon Hae Kang.

Meanwhile, Son Sang Yeon, who took the role of Haenam West Middle School badminton team leader Bang Yoon Dam, showed her gratitude towards the fans and thanked them for their solid support.

"I was very happy to deliver a small smile to the viewers on Monday and Tuesday nights. Thanks to your love, we were able to cheer up and finish filming well. We will continue to work hard to show better performances."

Girls' Generation's Yuri To Appear in 'Racket Boys' Finale

With the viewers' anticipation for the final episode of the sports drama, SBS teases fans with new still cuts featuring Girls' Generation's Yuri.

To recall, several media outlets previously revealed that the singer-actress would have a cameo for the drama.

Now, the 31-year-old beauty, whose real name is Kwon Yuri, is set to take on the role of National University of Korea's "national goddess," Lim Seo Hyun.

In the latest teaser, Yuri was seen alongside Haenam's top player, Han Se Yoon, played by Lee Jae In.

Meanwhile, according to a local outlet, the Girls' Generation member revealed that she is excited to be a part of the cast and shared that she finished filming "Racket Boys" with a happy heart.

"I was happy to be able to share the last episode with such good work. Please watch a lot until the end."
