Lovers of the Red Sky Episode 3 Highlights: Demon Water Tries to Attack Hong Cheon Gi
The latest episode illustrates the revenge of the demon water, MaWang, through Ha Ram's body.
The drama starts with Hong Cheon Gi wandering around the mountain alone and in the middle of the dark. With only a lamp in her hand, she tries to find the path that would lead her to their village.
Upon her journey, she meets the old lady for the second time, not knowing that she is Sam Shin, the goddess of life.
The deity tries to keep Cheon Gi beside her in order to protect her against the vicious demon water; however, she insists on leaving the mountain.
While in the middle of her journey, MaWang tracked Cheon Gi and planned on seizing her eyesight. Thankfully, Ho Ryeong, the guardian of Inwangsan Mountain, appears and tries to kill Ha Ram's alter ego.
Interestingly, Sam Shin revealed why she needed to release Ha Ram, who was tied in a tree. The goddess explained that no one can kill the demon water and would only enter another person's body.
The guardian of the mountain then released Ha Ram, causing him to fall off the tree.
Meanwhile, Cheon Gi helped the unconscious blind astrologer to get a safe place and decides to seek temporary shelter in her town.
The Palace Learned About Supervisor Ha's Disappearance
At the palace, the King stood behind the gate and noticed a parliament of owls' loud hoots signaling a death.
Here, King Sung Jo ordered his men to seek the help of Ha Ram; unfortunately, he learned that he was missing, and his guards were left dead. Only his assistant, Man Soo, survived and was able to deliver the news to the palace.
Upon hearing Ha Ram's disappearance, Prince Yang Myung stepped out of the palace to investigate the case.
Hong Cheon Gi Sought the help of the Headmaster
Lovers of the Red Sky Episode 3 highlights the purity of Cheon Gi's heart and her willingness to help Ha Ram.
After sensing that he is in bad shape, she decides to seek help from her neighbors.
Initially, she asked the housekeeper to help her look into the helpless scholar, but she did not believe Cheon Gi. The same goes for the headmaster, who ordered to lock the female painter.
As the Baekgyu Institute housekeeper, Kyun Joo Daek, brought her food, Cheon Gi explained the incident and persuaded her to come with her and help Ha Ram.
After agreeing with her, the two went outside the town to check the blind astrologer.
Interestingly, Ha Ram's escort warrior Moo Young came in first alongside his horse, Soma.
"Grand Prince Yangmyeong is looking for you himself," he told the blind astrologer, adding that his guards were found lifeless at the mountain.
Hong Cheon Gi Revealed her Identity to Ha Ram
As soon as Ha Ram told Moo Young that he had to wait at the area, Cheon Gi returned and was surprised that he is awake.
During their conversation, he bravely asked for her name. Cheon Go revealed her identity, and Ha Ram recalled that she was the blind girl he met at the peach blossom field 19 years ago.
