From fantasy, rom-com to heart-stopping thriller series, upcoming shows are set to make a grand debut on September 17.
Aside from this, there are current shows that keep every K-drama fandom obsessed and glued to their seats.
With that being said, here are four new K-dramas and current series that fans are looking forward to keeping an eye on.
'The Veil'
Namgoong Min transforms as an elite National Intelligence Service (NIS) agent named Han Ji Hyuk in the upcoming K-drama, "The Veil," who went missing after a secret mission.
After a year of his mysterious disappearance, he returned to the organization only to find the internal traitor responsible for his downfall.
Apart from the "Awaken" star, the new series includes Park Ha Sun as Crime Information Center team leader Seo Soo Yeo and Kim Ji Eun as Ji Hyuk's field partner Yoo Je Yi.
"The Veil" release date is scheduled to debut on September 17, airing every Friday and Saturday on MBC.

'Yumi's Cells'
Based on the popular webtoon of the same name, "Yumi's Cells" features a fresh team-up between Kim Go Eun and Ahn Bo Hyun.
The 30-year-old star plays the titular role of Kim Yumi, who lived an extraordinary life after struggling due to a coma.
With this, she had a hard time processing her thoughts, feelings, and emotion but managed to get through with the help of her adorable little friends.
On top of it, she meets the skilled game developer Goo Woong, played by the "Itaewon Class" actor who is set to wake Yumi's love cell.
Fans would get to see Kim Go Eun's new drama as "Yumi's Cell" release date is slated on September 17 and will be the latest Friday and Saturday drama.
'One the Woman'
Another much-awaited drama premiering on the third week of September is Honey Lee's new drama "One the Woman" alongside Lee Sang Yoon, Lee Won Keun, Jin Seo Yun, and more.
The SBS comedy series follows the story of Jo Yeon Joo, a corrupt prosecutor who attempts to recover her memories by swapping lives with a wealthy daughter-in-law, Kang Mi Na.
To make things more bizarre, Yeon Joo and Mi Na looked identical.
"One the Woman" is scheduled to broadcast on September 17 on SBS.
'Squid Game'
From crime thrillers to fantasy rom-com and now, let's move to Netflix's action mystery drama "Squid Game" starring Lee Jung Jae and "Prison Playbook" star Park Hae Soo.
Set to be released on September 17, the upcoming series illustrates the participants' mission to get through with the mysterious survival game in hopes of winning the grand prize of a whopping $ 40 million.
Unfortunately, there is only one winning that needs to survive.
Currently Airing: Lovers of the Red Sky
Apart from the highly anticipated new series, "Lovers of the Red Sky" is gaining the public's attention due to the lead stars' unique chemistry and the drama's striking visual.
It stars Kim Yoo Jung as the female painter Hong Cheon Gi and Ahn Hyo Seop as the blind astrologer named Ha Ram.
The historical fantasy drama is set in the Joseon Dynasty, where the duo's romance gets up between a water demon's revenge and the goddesses and deities protecting the palace.
"Lovers of the Red Sky" episode 7 will be broadcast on September 20.
