Sony Pictures has demanded removal of video from YouTube, featuring an alternative ending of AMC’s hit series, “Breaking Bad.”
Citing copyright infringement, Sony Pictures made sure that fans will not see the leaked alternative ending, which should be part of the “Breaking Bad: The Complete Series DVD box set.
USA Today described the ending as “a dream of Hal returning from “’Malcolm in the Middle’,” a sitcom from Fox, portrayed by Bryan Cranston from 2000 to 2006.
Odd?
The clip showed Hal waking up and recounting the nightmare to his other half. Hal’s wife is Lois, played by Jane Kaczmarek. The featurette saw Hal claiming he dreamed being bald; in the company of a hot blonde and with a cooked meth before him, added, USA Today.
The video also had Hal describing Dean Norris’ Hank Schrader who looks like a guy from “The Shield.” That’s not all. USA Today added that the alternative ending also had Hal describing Aaron Paul’s Jesse as "a little guy, a waif, a man-child, (a) kid who always looked like he was wearing his older brother's clothes."
The featurette ended with Hal going back to sleep and the camera panning out focusing on a black porkpie hat found inside the bedroom. USA Today described the hat “similar to the one Heisenberg wears.”
The alternative ending has earned quite a stir online. Syracuse.com described it as a spoof of “Malcolm in the Middle.” Most describe the ending, brilliant and hilarious.
