TVING announces the return of Han Sun Hwa, Lee Sun Bin, Apink's Eunji, and Super Junior's Choi Siwon in "Work Later, Drink Now" season 2.

Based on the webtoon of "Drinker City Girls," the comedy Kdrama follows the story of three young professionals whose life revolves around work, having a stable career and having drinks after work.

According to outlets, the broadcast network confirmed that they would be releasing the second installment for "Work Later, Drink Now" right after season 1 aired its finale.

To recall, the Friday series premiered on October 22 with 12 episodes and aired the finale last November 26.

"We decided and prepared for season 2 quickly upon the conclusion of the first because of fans who were eagerly waiting for a new season," a representative explained.

Moreover, TVING also hints that the highly anticipated sequel will focus on "heartwarming" stories.

"Just like season 1, the new season would be a relatable and heartwarming series about longtime friends and drinking buddies with quirky chemistry."

In the drama, Lee Sun Bin took on the role of variety show writer Ahn So Hee.

In a previous interview, "The Criminal Minds" star shared that the cast and the whole team are looking forward to "Work Later, Drink Now" season 2, adding that the first season ended with a bit of a cliffhanger and "signals the forthcoming second season."

The TVING drama also transforms Han Sun Hwa as the yoga instructor Han Ji Yeon, who is the ray of sunshine of the group with her bright and energetic personality but hides her sadness and pain by having fun and drinking after work.

Joining the trio is Jung Eun Ji, also known as Apink's Eunji, who took on the role of origami YouTuber Kang Ji Goo while Super Junior's Choi Siwon played the variety show PD Kang Book Goo.

The 27-year-old actress shared her thoughts about her character, Ahn So Hee, and her experience filming the Kdrama "Work Later, Drink Now."

Lee Sun Bin gets honest and shares that she is quite different from her role in terms of drinking activities.

"The Great Show" actress says that she doesn't drink that much, saying, "I never really had people around me that drank a lot... I can't even drink coffee because it's so bitter."

However, she mentioned that she and her "Work Later, Drink Now" co-stars Han Sun Hwa and Jung Eun Ji once had a few drinks at her house.

Because of the Kdrama, the trio built a strong friendship and revealed that they met around 6 p.m and "stayed up talking and drinking until 4:30 a.m."

Apink's Eunji also shared the same stance and pointed out her closeness with Lee Sun Bin and Sun Hwa.

Plus, the trio is around the same age and can totally relate to each other.
