TVING teases viewers with an exciting Kdrama lineup for 2022, including the highly anticipated sequels of Kim Go Eun's "Yumi's Cells" and "Work Later Drink Now."
The broadcast network released a list of upcoming series set to air in the coming year.
According to a report, TVING will broadcast a slew of original content in hopes of strengthening the network's competitiveness by giving the audience a round of entertaining and captivating series.
TVING Kdrama Lineup for 2022
Joining the list of Kdramas set to air in 2022 is "Internal Medicine Director Park" starring Lee Seo Jin and Ra Mi Ran.
The comedy series is based on the webtoon of the same name, that highlights the journey of a rookie doctor's "funny yet sad" life.
Slated to air on January 14, "Internal Medicine Director Park" also features Lee Seo Jin's shocking transformation as Park Won Jang.
TVING's new Kdramas for 2022 also includes the horror series "Monstrous," helmed by the"Train To Busan" director and stars Goo Kyo Hwan, Shin Hyun Bin, Nam Da Reum, Kwak Dong Yeon, Kim Ji Young, and Park Ho San.
Interestingly, based on the Japanese manga of the same name, "The King of Pigs" will also debut in the coming year.
According to reports, the production began in August featuring lead stars Kim Dong Wook, Chae Jung Ahn and "Kingdom" star Kim Sung Kyu.
The thriller mystery Kdrama depicts the story of people who are victimized by violence mysterious serial killings 20 years ago.
'Yumi's Cells 2' and 'Work Later Drink Now 2' to Broadcast in 2022
TVING released a number of blockbuster series this 2021 and because of the viewers' overwhelming response, the broadcast network announced that "Yumi's Cells" and "Work Later Drink Now" will return for season 2.
Kim Go Eun's drama and the comedy series received a lot of attention from the audience due to its interesting plot, and not to mention, the roster of stars.

Although "Yumi's Cells 2" has no official release date yet, screenwriter Song Jae Jung shared that the second installment will illustrate the character growth and dynamics as compared to the sentimental and mushy kind of feel in season 1.
Moreover, PD Lee Sang Yeop also hints at the closeness of Yoo Babi and Kim Yumi, played by Kim Go Eun and GOT7's Jinyoung.
"It will be different from the relationship with Goo Woong," he added.
As for the much-awaited second season for 'Work Later Drink Now' TVING also included the beloved comedy series with Han Sun Hwa, Apink's Jung Eun Ji, Lee Sun Bin, and Super Junior's Choi Siwon reprising their characters.
According to an outlet, a representative from the broadcast network revealed the reason that prompted them to release a sequel.
"We decided on and prepared for a second season quickly after the end of the first because of the fans who were eagerly waiting for a new season."
