As the medical-fantasy drama reaches its second half, the tvN series set a new personal best in viewership rating.
According to Nielsen Korea, "Ghost Doctor" episode 7 garnered an average nationwide rating of 6.2 percent and 6.5 percent in metropolitan areas, making it the leading Monday and Tuesday Kdrama across all channels.
'Ghost Doctor' Episode 7 Recap: Chief Ban Tae Sik and Dr. Ahn Tae Hyun Doubt Ko Seung Tak
Cha Young Min and his junior, Ko Seung Tak, are both in a dangerous position as some of the staff at Eunsang University Medical Center thinks the latter is possed by the thoracic surgeon.
After the duo agreed to work together and help save the patients' lives, Chief Ban Tae Sik and Dr. Ahn Tae Hyun believes that Ko Seung Tak is enchanted by some ghost.
It came after the medical intern successfully pulled off another complicated surgery making everyone baffled how he managed to do it. With this, Chief Ban suspects that he is bewitched by a ghost.

During his investigation, he found out that Cha Young Min's signature post-operation record, which includes figures, appeared at Ko Seung Tak's surgery log.
Unfortunately, this evidence only made his suspicion stronger that the medical intern and Cha Young Min and connected.
Cha Young Min Reunites With his Former Patient
"Ghost Doctor" episode 7 also welcomed the character of Lee Ji Woo, a popular singer-actress who goes by her stage name Jessica.
At first, Ko Seung Tak thought that Dr. Cha was a super fan of the celebrity, but he, later on, found out that Cha Young Min saved her life.
It was during Dr. Cha's earlier years as a doctor when then 10-year-old Lee Ji Woo was his patient.
However, with hopes of getting treated by Cha Young Min, she was saddened to see his current state but still pushed through with the surgery with the help of Ko Seung Tak.
Ko Seung Tak Cuts Off Deal With Cha Young Min
D-day has come for Jessica and the rest of the team; unfortunately, the medical intern is nowhere to be found.
Cha Young Min is worried that the lead surgeon, Dr. Han, would mess up the critical surgery, but just in the nick of time, Ko Seung Tak appeared.
Thankfully, the operation went well, but Dr. Cha was furious over his action.
Interestingly, Ko Seung Tak has his reason and admitted to his senior that he knew about the consequences if he kept on entering his body.
The medical intern mentioned that he heard Tess explain the repercussions of possessing someone else's body, which could lead to his death.
Due to this, he wanted to call off their deal, showing his deep concern about Cha Young Min's state.
