"Ghost Doctor" episode 12 delivered interesting development with Rain and Kim Bum's goal but encountered another devastating crisis. On February 9th's episode, the breathtaking scenes showed a continued rise in viewership rating.

According to Nielsen Korea, "Ghost Doctor" episode 12 ascends to a recorded nationwide rating of 5.709 percent, a significant rise from episode 11th's 4.914 percent.

It only shows that the fantasy medical Kdrama might hit its new personal best before the finale episode.

With only four episodes left, the truth is about to be uncovered after Ko Seung Tak confessed to Jang Se Jin about his connection with Cha Young Min.

Unfortunately, the decision of Seung Tak prompted Dr. Cha to lose his temper and confront the first-year medical intern.

The thoracic surgeon reminded his junior not to cross the line, especially with Se Jin; however, Ko Seung Tak insists this is for their sake. He mentioned how he felt guilty seeing Dr. Jang worries about the professor who is still in a coma.

As for Cha Young Min, he pointed out that it only complicates things with Se Jin and she might have a hard time recovering if he ends up not surviving.

Due to this, Ko Seung Tak explained to Dr. Jang that it was all a mistake, which made her even more furious, telling the young doctor that he was off Cha Young Min's case.

Jang Se Jin Rushed to the ER After Confrontation with Ko Seung Tak

Due to mixed emotions and surprising revelations, Dr. Jang collapsed and was taken to the emergency room.

Thankfully, Oh Su Jeong was at the ER and attended to Dr. Jang's situation.

She mentioned that Jang Se Jin has a cold and is experiencing overwork and sleep deprivation. Due to this, Cha Young Min asked for Ko Seung Tak's help so he could take care of Se Jin.

After a reunion with Dr. Jang, Ko Seung Tak went to his house and saw his mom instructing someone to fix their blocked pipes.

Interestingly, the young doctor had his eureka moment and immediately told Jang Se Jin that Cha Young Min might have a blocked artery resulting in poor blood flow.

True enough, based on the examination, it appears that one of his arteries is blocked and he had to undergo surgery. He asked the chief surgeon, Dr. Bahn, to go with him during the operation, which he gladly did.

"Ghost Doctor" episode 12 hints that Cha Young Min might soon recover from a coma after showing signs of progress.

Ko Seung Tak, Cha Young Min Fail Operation

After the good news, Ko Seung Tak and Cha Young Min face another crisis. A man was rushed to the emergency room due to a road accident.

Unfortunately, no doctors were available at the time and they were only clinging to Ko Seung Tak.

However, Dr. Cha is anxious that they might experience another setback after his body lost control during their last surgery.

Despite this, Ko Seung Tak insisted that they still needed to save the patient and continued with the surgery.

Tess found out about it and stormed into the operating room. He witnessed how Cha Young Min's soul separated from Ko Seung Tak, leaving him all alone to do the surgery.

Unfortunately, the patient died, causing disappointment to everyone.
