Twitter Korea named five trending K-dramas in the first half of 2022.
While some viewers are on the hunt for swoon-worthy series or looking forward to highly anticipated K-dramas that are about to hit the small screens anytime soon, the social media networking service has unveiled the list of most talked-about series.
Over its official social media, Twitter Korea introduced the most talked about K-drama that dominated Twitter's real-time trend.
It is based on the company's internal data covering from January 1 to March 31.
#1 'Young Lady and Gentleman'
Topping the list is the KBS series "Young Lady and Gentleman."
The rom-com K-drama features Ji Hyun Woo, Lee Se Hee, Park Ha Na, and Kang Eun Tak as lead stars.
Released in September 2021, the Saturday and Sunday series has received a favorable response from viewers.
Aside from this, the "'Young Lady and Gentleman's" highest viewership ever recorded garnered an average nationwide rating of 38.2 percent.
Despite a slight dip during its season finale, scoring an average nationwide rating of 36.8 percent as cited by Nielsen Korea, the weekend K-drama retained its perfect streak as the most-watched program to air on its timeslot.
#2 'Twenty Five, Twenty One'
Landing in second place is tvN's "Twenty Five, Twenty One."
Since its global debut in February 2022, the coming of age series, which stars Kim Tae Ri, Nam Joo Hyuk, WJSN Bona, and Choi Hyun Wook, is well-loved by Hallyu fans.
For eight consecutive weeks, the weekend series remained unbeatable as the most buzzworthy drama.
The same goes for the most buzzworthy actor rankings as "Twenty Five, Twenty One" lead stars remained consistent in first and second place.

Interestingly, fans also rejoiced after the tvN series made it as one of the contenders for Baeksang Arts Awards 2022 Best Drama while Kim Tae Ri was nominated for Best Actress.
#3 'Girls High School Mystery Class'
Making it to third place is none other than the Korean variety show, "Girls High School Mystery Class."
While the TVING show delivered a unique concept, viewers are also drawn to the cast members, including Park Ji Yoon, BIBI, Jang Do Yeon, Jaejae, and Choi Ye Na.
#4 'A Business Proposal'
Joining Twitter Korea's most talked about K-drama this first quarter of 2022 is SBS' "A Business Proposal."
Based on the webtoon of the same name, the rom-com series stars Kim Sejeong and Ahn Hyo Seop.
The duo's unique and undeniable chemistry kept millions of K-drama fans hooked on every episode. Unfortunately, the Monday and Tuesday series aired its finale episode last April 5.
#5 'Juvenile Justice'
Capping off the list of Twitter Korea's trending K-dramas in the first half of 2022 is Netflix's "Juvenile Justice."
The law crime series made it to the streaming giant's top 10 tv shows.
Kim Hye Soo was praised for her stellar performance portraying the role of elite juvenile judge Kim Eun Seok who disdains young offenders.
