"Suspicious Housekeeper" Choi Ji Woo finally smiled in the last episode.
On the last episode of SBS Monday Tuesday drama "Suspicious Housekeeper," which aired last night, Park Bok Nyeo (Choi Ji Woo) told Eun Sang Chul (Lee Sung Jae) and the children about the importance of mother, and decided to remain beside them.
On that day's episode, Park Bok Nyeo was to throw away the only relic of the four siblings' mother, the rock, into the river. She gathered around the children and asked cold heartedly, "Is it me, or your dead mother?" The children all answered, "Mother," and Eun Sang Chul, who later came to the children and Park Bok Nyeo, also said, "We can't wipe out my dead wife from the memory." Finally, Han Gyul (Kim So Hyun) asked Park Bok Nyeo, "We like you a lot, but we cannot erase our mother. Bok Nyeo should leave." Park Bok Nyeo then said, "I will leave since you asked me to."
As Bok Nyeo left the scene, Han Gyul realized her hidden intent. Bok Nyeo after all wished that the children and Eun Sang Chul did not forget their dead mother. Sang Chul also realized Bok Nyeo's hidden intent and asked, "If we say we love you, will you stay?" Sang Chul added, "Either you or I have left our spouses, but I would like to argue that this is love. I like you. I worry about you. I sympathize you. Sometimes I want to see you. I care about you. All of this, doesn't this amount to love?"
After Eun Sang Chul confessed his love for Park Bok Nyeo, he added, "I understand if you still have to leave. But I want you to say the proper goodbye to the children. It is Christmas soon." Pakr Bok Nyeo said yes.
Park Bok Nyeo had her last meal with Eun Sang Chul's family. Bok Nyeo asked Hye Gyul, "I have a last favor to ask you. I want you to return my rock to me." Hye Gyul then said, "If I give you this, you would leave us, wouldn't you?" Sang Chul asked, "I want to see Bok Nyeo smile," and Bok Nyeo, although it was hard for her, willingly smiled for the children. The children said words of goodbye to Park Bok Neyo, and Sang Chul as well wished her happiness.
Manager Hong (Kim Hae Sook) held onto Bok Nyeo who is trying to leave, but Bok Nyeo was determined. Manager Hong said, "The reason why I called you Bok Nyeo was not because you did not have a lot of luck, but because I wished you had a lot of luck. You are the child who smiled the prettiest out of all the children I have seen. Remember this."
Bok Nyeo met the Gyul's three siblings at the bus terminal, but could not see Eun Sang Chul or Hye Gyul. Bok Nyeo was sad to miss Hye Gyul for the last time Hye Gyul, however, was hiding from her because she did not want Bok Nyeo to leave. When Hye Gyul followed the bus Bok Nyeo got in later on, Bok Nyeo got off the bus. Hye Gyul handed Bok Nyeo the "Bok Nyeo stone," and said, "I will be fine." Bok Nyeo, tearing, handed a letter to Hye Gyul, In the letter, Bok Nyeo had written, "I like Hye Gyul a lot." Although Bok Nyeo left, she remained with the family as a part of happy memory.
In the end, Bok Nyeo came back to the family. As Hye Gyul's last wish and favor, the doorbell rang three times and, when she opened the door, miraculously Bok Nyeo was standing outside. Sang Chul said, "Bok Nyeo, please do not leave us anymore." Bok Nyeo asked, "Is that an order?" And Sang Chul said, "It is," smiling. Bok Nyeo was smiling as well.
From next week, drama "Kind Words" is to air.
