Upcoming K-drama "Joseon Psychiatrist Yoo Se Poong," which stars Kim Min Jae, Kim Hyang Gi, and Kim Sang Kyung, is back to filming after being involved in a tragic incident.
The production of the tvN historical series was postponed after the crew and directors were embroiled in a road accident.
Back in March, an exclusive report cited by XportsNews revealed that a bus carrying ten filming members was hit by a dump truck, leaving one PD dead and three others severely hurt.
Following the accident, lead stars Kim Min Jae and Kim Hyang Gi took to social media to reach out to their followers for a blood donation drive for the injured staff.

At the time, the "Joseon Psychiatrist Yoo Se Poong" production team immediately released a statement noting that the crew, including staff members and directors, "was heading to the Paju Studio for the scheduled filming of the day."
Due to the incident, "all filming has been halted." Moreover, the representative mentioned that the team will do their "best to sort out what happened with the accident" and "discuss any changes to the broadcast schedule with the broadcasting company."
Almost two months after the fatal accident, the tvN K-drama has resumed its activities.
'Joseon Psychiatrist Yoo Se Poong' Resumes Production
Following the accident involving the series' crew and director, "Joseon Psychiatrist Yoo Se Poong" returns to filming.
In an exclusive report by Osen, the remaining staff and actors are focused on filming with high spirit.
Moreover, the production company is doing its best to provide the team with everything to help them recover from the incident. This includes counseling and treatment to prevent post-traumatic stress of the staff.
Meanwhile, since the team has already continued filming, officials aim to release "Joseon Psychiatrist Yoo Se Poong" in the second half of 2022.
'Joseon Psychiatrist Yoo Se Poong' Cast and Synopsis
The upcoming tvN series is a novel based historical medical K-drama, which follows the story of a famous doctor named Yoo Se Poong, played by Kim Min Jae.
Despite his abilities, he was kicked out of the Palace after being involved in a royal conspiracy.
He then meets Seo Eun Woo, played by Kim Hyang Gi, a mysterious woman who was reborn and became a psychiatrist.
Kim Sang Kyung took on the role of village doctor Kye Ji Han who is a grumpy and money-obsessed person. However, behind his strange personality lies a sincere and genuine person.
Joining the trio as a lead star is Jung Won Chang, who last appeared in "The Uncanny Counter," as well as Jeon Guk Hyang as a supporting cast.
Interestingly, this will be Kim Min Jae's next K-drama after his series with Park Gyu Young for the rom-com "Dali and the Cocky Prince."
Meanwhile, Kim Hyang Gi has a back-to-back K-drama this 2022. Apart from "Joseon Psychiatrist Yoo Se Poong," she will also headline the cast of JTBC's "Flying Butterflies" alongside Oh Yoon Ah and Choi Daniel.
