As we are about to enter the second half of 2022, there are still numerous compelling and exciting legal K-dramas to anticipate until the end of this year. These court series also have sub-genres of romance, suspense, and comedy that will surely be enjoyed by viewers and star the biggest stars in the entertainment industry.
From Lee Jong Suk's "Big Mouse" to Lee Seung Gi's "Love According to the Law", K-Drama fans should add this names of series for their next binge-watch sessions.
'Doctor Lawyer'
So Ji Sub, who was in an almost four-year drama hiatus is now decorating the primetime with his new series. "Doctor Lawyer" is a medical-legal drama about a genius surgeon, who has become a lawyer after he loses everything after a critical operation and a meticulous prosecutor who is in charge of medical crimes. Lim Soo Hyang and Shin Sung Rok will join the event with actor So Ji Sub.
It's a Monday-Friday MBC series that will start airing this May 27 at 10 p.m. (KST).
'Why Her?'
Debuting this coming June 3 on primetime is SBS court-romance drama "Why Her?." Seo Hyun Jin is back as she plays the role of Oh Soo Jae, a smart and talented lawyer who has lived her life to achieve success.
But due to an unexpected case, she gets entangled with, Soo Jae becomes a professor at a law school, where she meets the law student, Gong Chan (Hwang In Yeop), who will do anything to protect her.
'Big Mouse'
Joining the circle is none other than Lee Jong Suk and SNSD's YoonA. They will team up for the first time in this drama, where they are expected to play as a married couple. It depicts the story of Park Chang Ho (Lee Jong Suk), who works as a lawyer and always messes up with his cases. Unfortunately, he gets involved in a murder case and finds himself in a life-threatening situation.
Go Mi Ho (YoonA) is a nurse and a supportive wife of Chang Ho, who helped him achieve his goal of becoming a lawyer. She discovers that her husband is suspected as a swindler and looks for action to clear Chang Ho's name.
"Big Mouse" starts airing in July and will occupy the Friday-Saturday slots at 10 p.m. (KST) on MBC.
'Love According to the Law'
KBS introduces its legal-romance series starring two famous stars Lee Seung Gi and Lee Se Young in the forthcoming Monday-Tuesday drama "Love According to the Law." It follows the story of longtime best friends Kim Jung Ho, a former prosecutor, and Kim Yu Ri, a lawyer who quits her job and opens a "Law Cafe" that serves coffee and legal counseling.
This series is scheduled to premiere on August 29 at 9:30 p.m. (KST).
