"Playful Kiss," "Fated To Love You" and "Some Day or One Day" are some of the nostalgic Korean remakes of Taiwanese dramas that were watched and loved by thousands of viewers in Asia.
'Playful Kiss'
This 2010 K-drama, also known as "Mischievous Kiss," was adapted from the phenomenal Taiwanese series "It Started With a Kiss," starring Joe Cheng and Ariel Lin. The Korean television series starred Jung So Min and former SS501 member Kim Hyun Joong.
The story is based on the Japanese manga "Itazura Na Kiss," written by Tada Kaoru. Since becoming a hit, the K-drama adaptation is said to be the third series version of the manga, following "It Started With a Kiss" in 2005, which later on released a sequel "They Kiss Again."
