'Our Blues' Episode 19: Lee Dong Seok Drives Kang Ok Dong To Mokpo
Lee Dong Seok (Lee Byung Hun) has learned how to fend for himself at such a young age. He was an estranged son to his mother Kang Ok Dong (Kim Hye Ja), who was a mistress to his friends' father.
Because of this, he would often get beaten up by his "friends" to a pulp when he was young. His anger towards the boys, including his mother, grew and became more intense as time passed by.

However, in the latest episode of the drama, Lee Dong Seok learns that his mother has been suffering from terminal cancer for a very long time, making him confused by his actions.
Even though he doesn't like to be involved in his mother's affairs, he still voluntarily drove his mother to Mokpo for his stepfather's memorial service.
Kang Ok Dong Lashes Out To Defend Lee Dong Seok
During his stepfather's memorial service, Lee Dong Seok reunites with his stepbrothers and old friends.
Though grown ups now, he couldn't still forget the times they would punch and kick him to death just for their personal pleasures.
When his stepbrother told him that he deserved to be punched and kicked because of his attitude and good-for-nothing life, Lee Dong Seok's mother throws a fit and defends her son, saying that he never did anything wrong.
Unbeknownst to his mother, Lee Dong Seok's heart sank as he realized how much his mother loved him despite his callousness and how he treated her for the past years.
Lee Dong Seok also found the courage to call Kang Ok Dong "mother" again.
Lee Young Ok Meets Park Jeong Jun's Parents
As Lee Young Ok (Han Ji Min) and Park Jeong Jun's (Kim Woo Bin) relationship becomes deeper, the latter decides to finally introduce his beloved girlfriend to his parents.
The thing is, Lee Young Ok is totally afraid of being judged, especially because of her past: an orphan girl who is responsible for taking care of her disabled sister.
In most cases, no one would love a girl with baggage. Thankfully, Park Jeong Jun isn't like any other men.
