As the tension rises, SBS' newest legal-romance drama "Why Her?," starring Seo Hyun Jin and Hwang In Yeop, continues to break viewership rating records.
'Why Her?' Garners Double Digit Rating
According to the result that Nielsen Korea released, "Why Her?" episode 4 which aired last June 11 garnered an average score of 10.1 percent nationwide. The series received a 6-percent rating with its premiere episode. But after three episodes broadcast, the show's ratings escalated.
This is the highest record that the SBS drama had so far. It is expected that "Why Her?" will receive more popularity in the upcoming weeks.
Seo Hyun Jin and Hwang In Yeop's Chemistry in 'Why Her?'
The Friday-Saturday series follows the story of a top-notch lawyer Oh Soo Jae (Seo Hyun Jin), who becomes a professor at Seojung University after she got involved in Park So Young's case.

As her journey began inside the university campus, she met the law student Gong Chan (Hwang In Yeop). He is a persistent, caring, and brilliant student who is fond of the female professor. His goal is to protect Oh Soo Jae anytime just like what she did when she tried to prove his innocence years ago when he was falsely accused of murder.

Viewers became immersed in the blossoming romance between the lead characters. Though the series has just released four episodes, K-drama fans are on the edge of their seats as they try to guess what's in store for Gong Chan and Oh Soo Jae.
People also praise Seo Hyun Jin for her notable acting in the series. "Why Her?" marks her first small-screen project following "You Are My Spring" in 2021.
Viewers are also complimenting the chemistry that she has with Korean heartthrob Hwang In Yeop, and they are all looking forward to seeing more of their onscreen love story.
