Bae Suzy dishes out her thoughts about her upcoming drama and reveals the reason to watch "Anna."
The singer-actress, alongside fellow lead stars Jung Eun Chae, Kim Joon Han, and Park Ye Young, graced the press conference ahead of the drama's premiere.
As usual, the 27-year-old Hallyu star appeared at the press briefing showing off her unique charm and undeniable beauty donning a silk light blue flowy midi dress from local fashion brand AvouAvou and capping off her look by wearing accessories from Chaumet.
During the interview, as cast members discuss their experience filming the series, Bae Suzy spoke about her Kdrama comeback and why "Anna" is "worth watching."
Bae Suzy Hints at Lee Yoo Mi's Unpredictable Life in 'Anna'
In a report cited by a media outlet, Bae Suzy shared what prompted her to accept the offer.
The actress said that upon reading the script, she felt sorry for Lee Yoo Mi; however, as the story progresses, she "sympathized" with her character.
Moreover, she mentioned how she understood why Lee Yoo Mi had to pretend and hoped that her "lies would not be found out'' adding, "I thought it was a character worth watching."
"Anna" is based on the novel "Intimate Stranger" written by Jeonghan Ah. It follows the story of a mysterious woman named Lee Yoo Mi who created her alter ego which she named Anna Lee.

In the drama, Bae Suzy plays the dual character who was caught up in her own lies. However, besides being busy creating her own little world, Lee Yoo Mi has a psychological condition known as Ripley's syndrome.
It is an antisocial personality disorder that makes persons who suffer from it believe lies about themselves.
There are even some instances where patients commit crimes because of this disorder.
Bae Suzy on Playing Anna and Lee Yoo Mi
As the "Anna" press conference continues, the singer-actress talks about her character and preparations for the drama.
Bae Suzy described her character as someone who has "a lot of things she wants to do and is good at it."
The 27-year-old star says that Lee Yoo Mi's life turns upside down after Anna comes along.
Since playing a dual role is a different experience from her previous Kdramas, she shared that she paid attention to the changes in her role's psychological process and ensured that the viewers would feel it.
Joining Bae Suzy is Jung Eun Chae, the wealthy and elegantly beautiful Hyun Joo who lived an almost perfect life. She is the daughter of Yoo Mi's boss, who returned to Korea after studying abroad.
Meanwhile, Kim Joon Han plays Yoo Mi's ambitious husband, Ji Hoon, and Park Ye Young is Ji Won, Yoo Mi's trusted friend.
The press conference comes ahead of the "Anna" release, which will hit the small screens on June 24, airing every Friday via Coupang Play.
