'Extraordinary Attorney Woo' Episode 4: A Friend's Cry For Help
In "Extraordinary Attorney Woo" episode 4, loyalty, friendship and the true essence of family are tested. Woo Young Woo (Park Eun Bin) resigned from Hanbada, and currently works part-time at her father's small eatery.
However, her quiet and peaceful day was disrupted when her best friend Dong Geurami (Jong Hyun Young) runs to her for help.
Her father Dong Dong Sam (Jung Seok Yong) has been scammed by his older brothers to sign a memorandum, saying that they will split the land compensation given by the government after using up their land.
The two eldest brothers pushed Dong Geurami's father to give them 5 billion and 3 billion, respectively, while he is left with 2 billion and 260 million won in debt.
Because of this ordeal, Woo Young Woo sends her best friend to Jung Myeong Seok (Kang Ki Young) to ask for legal advice.

Despite being angered by Woo Young Woo's sudden resignation, they team up to prove that the memorandum was signed after deceiving the plaintiff, Dong Geurami's father.
Thankfully, Woo Young Woo and the Hanbada lawyers successfully proved that Dong Dong Sam's older brothers deceived him into signing the memorandum and won the case.
Lee Jun Ho Surprises Park Eun Bin With Sincere Gift
Dong Geurami senses that litigator Lee Jun Ho (Kang Tae Oh) is drawn to Woo Young Woo. To show her gratitude for their help, she advises Lee Jun Ho to take Woo Young Woo to see a sunset, which is a popular dating thing kids do.
While basking in the sunlight, Woo Young Woo reveals the true reason why she resigned: she felt like an anchor, weighing the team down.

The following day, Lee Jun Ho surprises Woo Young Woo with another gift, a painting of a whale on the wall, eliciting positive reactions from viewers.
Woo Young Woo is in awe and thankfully, she is back in the game with a renewed vigor. She is willing to work again, despite being absent for many days.
At the end of the episode, the scene where Hanbada CEO Han Seon Young (Baek Ji Won) met up with Woo Young Woo's father in episode 1 is shown, revealing that she was also a good friend of her mother.
