Lee Seung Gi, Lee Se Young Become Lawyers With Intiguing Past in 'The Law Cafe'
KBS2's upcoming court rom-com series "The Law Cafe" (previously referred to as "Love According to the Law") teases the fans and viewers with Lee Seung Gi and Lee Se Young's characters stills!
Based on the popular novel of the same name, the drama follows the romantic pursuits between the two opposite lawyers who meet three times in their lives through fate.
Lee Seung Gi plays the role of Kim Jeong Ho, a former lawyer who becomes a landlord while Lee Se Young transforms into the eccentric lawyer Kim Yu Ri who opens a cafe in his building.
The newly released stills capture the contrasting personalities of the two. In the first photo, Kim Jeong Ho and Kim Yu Ri face one another in front of a courthouse, donning unamused looks.
Kim Jeong Ho sports a trench coat over a red sweatsuit while Kim Yu Ri is clad in a white suit with a patterned blouse underneath, raising curiosity about the two characters' past.
After resigning from being a lawyer, Kim Jeong Ho never wanted to visit the court again. However, he rushes to the place at the request of Kim Yu Ri despite being displeased.

In the next photos, Kim Yu Ri checks out a piece of real estate for sale with a new idea in mind. Wearing a colorful knit top and jeans, she looks around the first floor of the building, deciding to take the room for her Law Cafe.
Curiosity about the two characters' past and how they will be able to coexist in the same space are raised, as well as the anticipation of the viewers.
What To Expect From 'The Law Cafe' and Where To Watch It
The drama is based on the popular novel of the same name written by Noh Seung Ah, and helmed by director Lee Eun Jin and scriptwriter Im Ji Eun.
"The Law Cafe" promises to deliver a synergy-filled work through the lively atmosphere created by Lee Seung Gi and Lee Se Young who reunited in the drama after four years since "Hwayugi."
When asked why the actors chose the drama, Lee Seung Gi shared that he wants to do a law-focused drama with a hint of romance. According to him, the drama will surely be a blockbuster hit.
Meanwhile, Lee Se Young admits that she confirmed her appearance in the drama because of her character, which she wanted to do for a very long time since her debut. Moreover, KBS2's "The Law Cafe" airs on Monday, September 5 at 9:50 p.m. KST.
