Upon checking with the symptoms, they ruled out that it might be a plague.
To help the patient, they seek a local pharmacy for the supply of medicinal herbs; unfortunately, the commissioner hoarded the essential herbs and plans, which might be the cure for the disease.
Despite the plea of Kye Ji Han, the commissioner wanted to make money out of it and sell it at a much higher price.
To help the growing number of patients, the team planned to steal the medicinal plans to their storage.
Thankfully they got what they needed and attempted to cure their sick patients. However, Kye Ji Han noticed that he blistered as someone familiar with what he had seen years ago. He thinks that it might be related to the poisonous dansacho plant that was forbidden years ago.

Patients Ordered to Be Quarantined in the Mountains
As the physicians looked for the cure, the royal inspector ordered the sick patient to be quarantined in the mountains and away from those without the illness.
For Yoo Se Poong, he thought that this was a harsh decision and raised that they must be treated in the clinic. However, even physician Kye Ji Han agreed with the royal inspector that the sick must be separated.
Unfortunately, besides those who visited the clinic, Lady Seo Eun Woo was also infected by the plague after she investigated where and how it started.
She showed the senior physician a sample of the plant that the locals used before the plague started and saw the poisonous plant.

During his discussion with the senior physician, Yoo Se Poong believes that he knew where he could find the antidote, which is a rare type of plant.
After gathering just enough for the patients, he came face-to-face with royal inspector Jo Shin Woo and planned on killing him.
However, he fell unconscious and showed symptoms of the plague. Despite this, Yoo Se Poong chose to treat Jo Shin Woo.
Thankfully, Yoo Se Poong and Kye Ji Han successfully treated the patients with the antidote. As for the royal inspector, he asks why the young physician saved him.
Yoo Se Poong explained that he wanted the royal inspector to report it not as a plague but as an illness, which he did.
