Super Junior's Donghae To Star in JTBC's 'Oh! Youngshim'
After almost 8 years of hiatus from the acting field, Lee Donghae is now ready to meet the viewers again with a new exciting drama, "Oh! Youngshim."
According to Daum on August 24, the Super Junior member is set to lead JTBC's forthcoming series "Oh! Youngshim," along with Song Hayoon.
It follows the story of Youngshim, a virtuous and amusingly unconventional adolescent girl. Song Hayoon takes the role of the female lead, Youngshim, while Donghae will portray the character of Wang Gyeongtae.
Since the announcement of the good news, many are already looking forward to the series and are eager to watch the chemistry between the two stars.

To hype the audience, the drama has reportedly started filming.
In addition, it will be produced by The Great Show company, the production behind Song Kang's "Navillera" and "The Toad: The Tragedy of One." Though the production already began, the schedule of its release is still in discussion and might air in the early months of 2023.
Lee Donghae's Previous Acting Projects
Lee Donghae embarked on the acting field in 2010, he debuted in the series "It's Okay, Daddy's Girl." Here, he worked with Moon Chae Won, Cho Jin Hyuk, Im Kang Sung, and more.
The following year, he starred in the FTV show "Glamorous Challenge." In 2012, he made the viewers swoon as a chef in the romantic Channel A drama "Panda and Hedgehog."
In 2014, Donghae played the role of Han Shi Woo in the series "Quiz from God 4."
Since then, the Super Junior singer remained inactive in dramas and movies and just focused on his music career as a Super Junior member, a solo artist, and in a sub-unit with Eunhyuk..
Meanwhile, Donghae's newest leading lady Song Hayoon is known for her previous dramas "Phantom," "Reset," Devilish Charm," and "Please Don't Date Him."
She also starred in the hit drama "Fight for My Way" where she even bagged Excellent Actress Award at the 2017 Korea Drama Awards.
