Another month means another whole new lineup of K-dramas slated to premiere on Netflix.

As K-wave maintains its popularity worldwide, the streaming giant continues to deliver interesting and exciting content to its millions of viewers.

From Korean adaptation to crime-thriller and of course, the all-time favorite rom-com series, here are the rundown of new K-dramas on Netflix this September 2022.

'Once Upon a Small Town'

The upcoming rom-com K-drama "Once Upon a Small Town" stars Red Velvet's Joy, Choo Young Woo, Baek Sung Chul, Ha Yul Ri, and Jung Suk Yong.

Helmed by "Pasta" and "Bossam: Steal the Fate" director Kwon Seok Jang, the series depicts the story of a city-based veterinarian Han Ji Yool (Choo Young Woo) who receives a phone call from his grandfather asking him to come to visit him in his hometown.

Based on his voice, he is not so good which prompted him to travel to Heedong Village. However, he was surprised to know that his grandfather was vacationing in a different city and made him come all the way to the province to take over the veterinary clinic temporarily.

In the small town, he meets a local female officer Ahn Ja Young (Red Velvet's Joy) who helps him cope and deal with his inconveniences in the village. This is also where their friendship and budding romance started.

"Once Upon a Small Town" release date is set on September 5, with new episodes airing every Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday through Netflix.

'Narco-Saints'

Featuring a star-studded cast, the forthcoming action crime K-drama "Narco-Saints" is based on the true story that took place in Suriname in South America.

It depicts the story of Kang In Goo (Ha Jung Woo) a businessman who gets intertwined with the National Intelligence Service's (NIS) special mission.

He was enlisted by Choi Chang Ho (Park Hae Soo,) the team leader of the Americas branch to help with the NIS and crack down on Jeon Yo Hwan (Hwang Jung Min), a drug lord posed as a Korean pastor in Suriname.

Apart from the trio, viewers will get to see an intense storyline through the characters of Yoo Yeon Seok, Jo Woo Jin, and more.

"Narco-Saints" is making its worldwide premiere on September 9 with a total of 6 episodes via Netflix.

'Little Women'

Last on the list for upcoming K-dramas on Netflix this September 2022 is the novel-based series "Little Women" which stars Kim Go Eun, Nam Ji Hyun, and "All of Us Are Dead" stars Park Ji Hu.

In the remake, the trio will portray siblings who wind up in the country's wealthiest family.

Kim Go Eun plays the eldest sister of the Oh siblings. Despite living in poverty, Oh In Joo wants to protect her family with money; hence the reason she is working hard to provide for her family.

The middle child is Oh In Kyung, played by Nam Ji Hyun. She works as a news reporter who always does what's right and does not bow down for the money.

Playing as the youngest among the siblings is Park Ji Hu as Oh In Hye, who made it to the prestigious art school.

"Little Women" will be premiering on Netflix this September 3, airing every Saturday and Sunday.
