The new action-comedy drama "Good Job" starring SNSD's Yuri and Jung Il Woo has a good ranking in viewership ratings. However, viewers complain about the cast because of this.
'Good Job' Receives Negative Reviews Despite Ranking First on Wed-Thurs Primetime
With the goal of making it a hit, ENA Channel's currently airing series "Good Job," following the record-breaking drama "Extraordinary Attorney Woo," ranks first in terms of ratings among the Wednesday-Thursday series.
Unfortunately, though it gained enthusiastic support from the audience, the program also received negative insights from the viewers. Particularly with the cast performances.
"Good Job" entered primetime last August 24. It foretells the story of elite detective Eun Sun Woo (Jung Il Woo) and super-sighted Don Se Ra (Kwon Yuri). According to Ten Asia, it already became the talk of the town before its debut because it is a sequel to Park Eun Bin's "Extraordinary Attorney Woo," which finished its run with a double-digit viewership rating of 17.5 percent.

SNSD Yuri and Jung Il Woo Criticized For Bad Acting in 'Good Job'
Also a month before its scheduled release, the original director of "Good Job," Ryu Sung Jin stepped down from his position and Kang Min Gu took over the project. There were rumors that the reason behind the former director's departure was because of the cast which caused controversy. However, the production denied the allegations and continued to promote the drama ahead of release.
However, despite the hype, "Good Job" is getting mixed reviews from the public. The major problem is the impossible probability of its story is far from reality. Plus, controversy involving the cast members' acting skills also arose.
SNSD member and actress Yuri received flattering reviews for her stable acting in "Bossam: Steal the Fate" even though it was her first historical series. It is different for "Good Job," as she got negative comments about her acting skills and some viewers were disappointed by her performance.
It's the same problem for Jung Il Woo. His character is said to have exaggerated behavior and his tone does not fit him well.
On the other hand, in addition to the report, among all the dramas that air on Wednesdays and Thursdays, "Good Job" is the only series that consists of humor and comic elements, which became its strength.
