On September 5, KBS finally launched its new legal-romance series "The Law Cafe," which stars Lee Seung Gi and Lee Se Young.
This is one of the much-anticipated K-dramas this month as it is a project reunion for the two lead stars who first worked in the 2018 fantasy drama "Hwayugi," also known as "A Korean Odyssey."

"The Law Cafe" Episode 1 made an impressive start, and Nielsen Korea stated that the newly premiered series recorded an average rating of 7.1 percent nationwide. It has been said that it is higher than the rating achieved by its predecessor drama "Cafe Minamdang, which was 5.7 percent.
Web novel-based drama "The Law Cafe" tells the romantic-comedy story of prosecutor-turned-novelist and a young landlord, Kim Jung Ho (played by Lee Seung Gi), and Kim Yu Ri (played by Lee Se Young), a smart and eccentric lawyer who wants to rent his place to launch her dream law cafe.
Lee Seung Gi and Lee Se Young's drama made a fresh and successful start on primetime. You can watch the series every Monday and Tuesday on KBS at 9:50 p.m. (KST).
'Poong, The Joseon Psychiatrist' Sees Decline in Viewership Rating
The historical series "Poong, The Joseon Psychiatrist," which is produced by tvN, sees a small dip in viewership rating.
According to Nielsen, the drama's latest episode garnered an average rating of 4.3 percent, which is lower than its latest record of 5.2 percent nationwide.
