KBS' "If You Wish Upon Me" is already halfway through its finale, but it continues to receive low ratings. Unlike other healing dramas, Ji Chang Wook's series is not appealing to the public.

'If You Wish Upon Me' Synopsis

It is a meaningful drama and has a good story, but unfortunately, not many viewers know about this masterpiece.

Yoon Gyeo Rye (played by Ji Chang Wook) had just been released from jail, he then met Kang Tae Sik (Sung Dong Il). Mr. Kang was injured when the ex-convict was being chased for money by the gang, he almost crashed into Tae Sik's ambulance while he was transferring a patient.

Because of what happened, Gyeo Rye was forced to drive the ambulance and heard about Team Genie, who grants patients' last wishes. Instead of filing a case against Yoon, Mr. Kang ordered him to do community service.

Eventually, Yoon Gyeo Rye joined Team Genie, and his life started to change.

"If You Wish Upon Me" follows the journey of an immature male lead growing up, as well as the stories of ordinary individuals gathering to warmly see off hospice patients in their last moments.

The developments of the stories are sometimes obvious - the drama is indeed worth watching.

The drama's main actors are worth paying attention to as they showcase their versatility and have a strong synergy with each other. Ji Chang Wook, who appears in multiple romance series and playing various characters, perfectly expresses Yoon Gyeo Rye's role.
