SBS' "One Dollar Lawyer," which stars Namgoong Min and Kim Ji Eun, records new high ratings despite tight competition with other top K-dramas.
'One Dollar Lawyer' Boasts Popularity on Its Second Week
With just four episodes released, SBS' newly debuted K-drama "One Dollar Lawyer" is getting massive enthusiastic response from the audience. According to Nielsen Korea last October 1, the Friday-Saturday series was able to secure a 12.0 percent viewership rating for its fourth episode in the metropolitan area.
In addition to the program's weekly achievements, "One Dollar Lawyer" was the most-watched show of the entire day among ages 20 to 49, which almost collected 4.6 percent of the drama's avid viewers.
It was also the first among the programs aired in the same time zone and took the first place in the audience ratings for Saturday dramas.
Adding to the viewers' interest about the series is the ongoing buisness partnership between Cheon Ji Hun and Baek Ma Ri.

"One Dollar Lawyer" follows the story of Cheon Ji Hun (Namgoong Mina), a lawyer with an unusual style. He only charges 1, 000 won (about 1 USD) or 1,000 for his service, but he is one of the most killed lawyers around. Ji Hoon, fights against the most expensive lawyers and their clear clients.

tvN's 'Little Women Achieves New Good Ratings
Meanwhile, next to Namgoong Min is Kim Go Eun, who stars in the "Little Women." The drama gained another praise as it achieved its highest viewership ratings to date. Nielsen Korea stated that the revenge drama scored an average nationwide rating of 7.3 percent.
MBC's "Golden Spoon," which is Yook Sung Jae's comeback drama, was able to record an average score of 5.1 nationwide.
Joining this week's series is Ok Taecyeon and Jung Eun Ji's "Blind." The drama recorded an average 2.8 percent rating.

The revenge drama "The Empire" dipped to a nationwide rating of 1.9 percent during its third episode.
Lastly, KBS 2TV's new series "Three Bold Siblings" remained the most-watched program to air on any channel. On its latest episode, "Thee Bold Siblings" was able to earn an 18.3 percent.
