As the historical series continues, the tvN weekend drama experienced a slight dip in viewership rating but still managed to take the lead.
'Under the Queen's Umbrella' Episode 9 Viewership
According to Nielsen Korea, "Under the Queen's Umbrella" episode 9 garnered an average nationwide rating of 10.0 percent, maintaining a double-digit viewership.
It is a minimal increase from its previous 11.821 percent, but the ninth episode took first place in its time slot across all channels
Where to Watch 'Under the Queen's Umbrella'?
In "Under the Queen's Umbrella" episode 9, it featured another face off between the two queens.
It came after the King learned from his mother that she was poisoned by his wife, Queen Im Hwa Ryung after giving her a cuckoo pint, a flower known to be highly poisonous.
As she recovers in her quarters, the King visits him. Interestingly, during his visit, he was manipulated by the Queen once again after her son confronted her about the attempt to kill Grand Prince Seongnam.

Of course, Queen Dowager Cho denied it and played the victim.
On the other hand, Queen Im Hwa Ryung went to her quarters and mentioned that she knew that it was only her act. She also warned her that she will expose her attempt to kill her son and her alliance with the State Chief Counselor.

After the monk got involved in a case, which eventually turned out to be Prince Uiseong, he was sent to prison.
Meanwhile, the royal physician and his connection with Consort Hwang was figured out by the Queen's court maid, hinting that it was all under their plan.
