'Arthdal Chronicles'

Named as the South Korean version of "Game of Thrones," Song Joong Ki's "Arthdal Chronicles" is a fantasy series that, like "Alchemy of Souls," dwells with fantasy and politics at the same time.

The series is set in the Ancient times in Arthdal where a military force is led to control the land. Two chosen representatives of the Wahan Tribe are set to save their nation before it's too late.

During its run, the series also dominated the global charts and gained a massive following. At the same time, "Arthdal Chronicles" has also been green-lit for a new season so stay tuned!

'Lovers of the Red Sky'

Kim Yoo Jung and Ahn Hyo Seop's "Lovers of the Red Sky" is much similar to "Alchemy of Souls" in terms of its themes; fantasy, romance and fictional history.

While "Alchemy of Souls" deals with soul-shifting magic, "Lovers of the Red Sky" focuses on the romance of a blind painter and an astrologer whose fate lies on his lover despite being able to read the future.

Apart from that, the series also has a political touch to it, much like "Alchemy of Souls," when the Prince does everything he can in his power to become the next Joseon King.

'Goblin'

Another cult classic, Gong Yoo, Kim Go Eun, Lee Dong Wook and Yoo In Na's "Goblin" is simply one of the best works ever released in K-drama history.

Like "Alchemy of Souls," the series is equipped with excellent cinematography, CGI effects, heart-thumping love lines and a star-studded soundtrack.

While Lee Jae Wook and Jung So Min in Part 1 dealt with soul-shifters and a powerful spell, Gong Yoo and Kim Go Eun figured their way out when a 1000-year-old goblin falls in love with a mortal.

'Korean Odyssey'

As a K-drama junkie, you can never go wrong with Lee Seung Gi's "Korean Odyssey"!

Like "Alchemy of Souls," it's packed with romance, fantasy and even comedy!

The series follows the story of a man and a woman's truce after they spend their lives trying to take down one another.

"Korean Odyssey" is a well-written drama with complex characters that will surely hook viewers' interests. This 20-parter series is truly worth the time!
