Not all beautiful K-dramas have love triangles. Sometimes, the protagonists' life journey is what makes the series more exciting to watch.
Though these dramas "Lawless Lawyer," "Where Stars Land," and more don't involve complicated romance, it still has excellent storylines and lead stars made an impact with their strong chemistry.
1. 'Lawless Lawyer'
Starring Lee Joon Gi and Seo Ye Ji, this 2018 legal drama tells the story of Bong Sang Pil and Ha Jae Yi, who form the Lawless Law Firm. To seek revenge for his mother and fight against those politicians with absolute power, Sang Pil decides to become a lawyer and leave his life as a gangster. However, he still uses his fists and loopholes to achieve his goals, and his battles become easier when he teams up with the help of Ha Jae Yi.
2. 'Where Stars Land'
Also known as Fox Bride Star, this series is about two rookie employees- working diligently in the passenger service department at Incheon International Airport.

Han Yeo Reum (played by Chae Soo Bin) wants to be a perfectionist, but her decisions in life sometimes don't work in her current situation. She ends up getting into trouble while working with the passenger service team. Lee Soo Yeon (Lee Je Hoon), just wants to have an ordinary life, but his painful past won't let him.
3. 'The Secret Life of My Secretary'
This fun and romantic drama depict the story of a cold and intelligent boss Do Min Ik (Kim Young Kwang) at a media company who constantly relies on his diligent yet hot-tempered secretary Jung Gal Hee (Jin Ki Joo). Unfortunately, he fires her. But when life unexpectedly throws him challenges, he suddenly wants his secretary back.
4. 'Run On'
Healing-romance drama "Run On" centers its story on a national track and field athlete Seon Kyeom (Im Si Wan)-and a foreign film translator Oh Mi Joo (Shin Se Kyung) as they slowly get to know each other the two develop special connection and turns into a romantic relationship.
5. 'W: Two Worlds'
Lee Jong Suk and Han Hyo Joo's team-up in this series is indeed one of the greatest things that happened in K-dramaland. "W" introduces the complicated but thrilling journey of Oh Yeon Joo, a surgeon at a famous hospital. Her father is a popular webtoon writer of the book W. Kang Chul is a character in the story who won a shooting competition at the 2004 Athens Olympics. However, one day, Oh Yeon Joo accidentally enters the W world and meets Kang Chul.
