Goo Hye Sun talks about the highs and lows in her career and recalls her painful experience with her friends.
The actress turned director appeared as a guest on her YouTube channel, where she dishes on how her past played a significant role in her life.
She began her career as part of the sitcom "Nonstop 5" back in 2004 and was also a co-host in SBS' music show "Inkigayo" from 2006 to 2007 alongside Super Junior's Heechul.
Interestingly, it was her appearance in the K-drama "Pure in Heart" that gained the public's attention, followed by the historical series "The King and I" and "Strongest Chil Woo."
However, Goo Hye Sun reached the peak of her career after landing the lead role in "Boys Over Flowers" with Lee Min Ho, Kim Bum and more.
Since then, her career has skyrocketed, making star in back-to-back projects.
During the interview, Goo Hye Sun shared the downsides of fame and fortune.

As obtained by a local media outlet, she briefly spoke about how she spent her earnings from the series.
"After filming Boys Over Flowers, I was able to do whatever I wanted for a really long time," she revealed, but says that she needs to "look for another project."
That is where we get the part in the 2011 series "The Musical," followed by "Take Care of Us, Captain" and another smash hit K-drama, "Angel Eyes."
Now, although Goo Hye Sun is not active on screen, she is busy directing various projects, from short films to commercials.
She even won an award in 2022 after participating in the Short Shorts Film Festival.
