As the 16-part episode K-drama is set to have its finale, Yoo Yeon Seok, who played Dr. Kang Dong Joo in season 1, joined as the new Trauma Center head.

According to a media outlet, Nielsen Korea recorded an average nationwide rating of 14.8 percent for "Dr. Romantic 3" episode 13.
Apart from setting a new all time high, the episode is also the most-watched show of any kind to air on Friday.

Interestingly, it is expected that Yoo Yeon Seok's arrival until the "Dr. Romantic 3" finale will contribute to an increasing rating and surpass the previous season's highest viewership.
Due to the center being understaffed, Dr. Kang managed to check on three severe cases.
Unfortunately, one of them died. This is the reason why he got furious over Cha Eun Jae, noting how she did a wrong move.
