It seems like "Medical Top Team" with only one episode won't be able to recover its pride. Its ratings that were rising slowly fell again.
According to Nielsen Korea, a ratings company on December 12th, the 19th episode of SBS Wednesday/Thursday "Medical Top Team" aired the day before rated 5.3% nationally.
This is 0.5% lower than the last episode that rated 5.8%. Recently, "Medical Top Team" had gone up in ratings but it was fighting an uphill battle. Nonetheless, it's comforting that it kept second place among Wednesday/Thursday dramas.
As the last episodes of "Medical Top Team" brows near, Joo Ji Hoon and Jung Ryuh Won's kiss reaffirming their love attracted viewers' attention.
Han Seung Jae (played by Joo Ji Hoon) felt confused as Jung Ryuh Won was located to another research center as the top team was disbanded. He asked Joo Young out and Seung Jae said to her, "If you're having a tough time, you can tell me" and kissed her. The two kissed intensely confirming their feelings for each other.
Meanwhile, Vice Chair Hye Soo (played by Kim Young Ae) who put the top team in a dangerous position was diagnosed with dementia as it will be interesting to see how the drama concludes.
Meanwhile, as for other dramas aired in the same time, SBS "Heirs" rated 24.3% and broke records and and KBS 2TV "Pretty Man" rated 2.9% recording its lowest ratings.
