Finally, Kim Tae Hee and Lim Ji Yeon's drama "Lies Hidden in My Garden" aired its pilot episode, showcasing thrilling and unexpected scenes.

Helmed by Jung Ji Hyun of "The King: Eternal Monarch," "You Are My Spring," and Twenty-Five Twenty-One," the upcoming series is a webtoon-based K-drama that focuses on two women bound by a mysterious secret.

Starring Kim Tae Hee as Moon Joo Ran, she lives a comfortable life with her husband, Park Jae Ho, played by Kim Sung Oh.

As for Lim Ji Yeon's character, Choo Sang Eun, she experiences brutal abuse from her husband, Kim Yoon Beom, portrayed by Choi Jae Rim.

As mentioned by a media outlet, "Lies Hidden in My Garden" kicked off with an average start. According to Neilsen Korea, episode 1 garnered a viewership rating of 1.2 percent.

'Lies Hidden in My Garden' Episode 1 Recap

The episode began with chilling scenes of Moon Joo Ran in the woods and seeing a masked man looking at her. It was then followed by the next scene, where she saw herself entering a room and was looking for her older sister.

However, Joo Ran, who smelled an awful odor at the door, saw her lifeless sister lying in her bed.

At the present time, Moon Joo Ran is still hunted by the stench.

Although she tried to keep the house spick and span, she couldn't mask the other that seemed to be coming at the backyard.

On the other hand, her husband, Park Jae Ho, a renowned doctor, visited their son's school to talk about Park Seung Jae's behavior in class.

He would always beat her until she was black and blue, but Sang Eun came prepared and would collect evidence of him hitting her.

In the last scene, she received a call noting that her husband was dead.
