New mystery drama "Revenant" immediately received high ratings, while "King the Land" continued to record an impressive viewership score in its second week.
Kim Tae Ri's Comeback Drama 'Revenant' Kicks Off With Double-Digit Rating
Marking her return with a success, Kim Tae Ri's new series "Revenant" impressed the audience and concluded its pilot week with a double-digit rating.
According to Nielsen Korea on June 25, the second episode of the supernatural thriller drama scored an average rating of 10 percent nationwide, which had a slight increase from episode 1 with a 9.9 percent rating.
"Revenant" is SBS' new drama starring Kim Tae Ri, Oh Jung Se, and Hong Kyung tells about a woman who got possessed by an evil spirit and a man who can see those spirits inside human bodies, who dig into mysterious deaths involving five divine objects.
The series drops new episodes every Friday and Saturday.
'King the Land' Soars To New All-Time High Rating on Its Second Week
Indeed, Lee Junho and YoonA's onscreen chemistry is undeniable, adding the beautiful improvements of the story in their first rom-com drama, "King the Land."
Nielsen Korea stated in its report that the weekend series had an increased viewership rating on its third episode. "King the Land" episode 3 earned an average score of 9.1 percent, marking a new all-time high for the trending K-drama.

The Netflix series beat its previous episode rating record of 7.5 percent, which aired on June 18.
Viewers are getting all excited about the upcoming episodes of the series.
'See You In My 19th Life,' 'The Real Has Come,' More Record New Ratings
Shin Hye Sun and Ahn Bo Hyun's "See You In My 19th Life," which also debuted last June 17 along with "King the Land," recorded a rating of 4.9 percent for its third episode. The newly premiered TV Chosun's series "Mrs. Durian," also known as "Durian's Affair" managed to score a 4.2 percent rating on its current episode.
Kim Myung Soo's legal drama "Numbers" which has the same time slot as "Revenant," was able to record 4.0 percent on its second episode.
Meanwhile, KBS' family drama "The Real Has Come," which is the most-watched show of any kind to air on Saturday, scored an 18.1 percent viewership rating nationwide.
