Lee Junho and YoonA's "King the Land" finally made it to the No. 1 spot on Netflix Global Chart,and set a new viewing hours record in its third week
'King the Land' Ranks First on Netflix Global Top 10 for Non-English Category
According to the news data provided by Netflix's Top 10 on July 5, JTBC's weekend series "King the Land" ranked first in the Global Top 10 for the Non-English category with a week-long viewing tally from June 26 to July 2.
"King the Land" recorded 4 million global views and 24.5 viewing times on Netflix in its third week, and accumulated 17.5 million viewing hours from its debut to the second week of its run on primetime, making it rank first in the Netflix Global List.

In addition, the rom-com series topped the viewing list in multiple countries, namely Japan, Singapore, Taiwan, the Philippines, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Sri Lanka, Turkey, the United Arab Emirates, Greece, Egypt, Kenya, Romania, Morocco, and Nigeria.

This increasing number of countries looking forward to watching the K-drama proved the expanding popularity of "King the Land" across the globe.
'King the Land,' Lee Junho, & YoonA Break Records
On July 4, the drama ranked fifth in the worldwide viewing rankings, including English-speaking countries, on Netflix. Adding to its emerging success is that, Lee Junho and YoonA's ongoing drama surpassed its own record by achieving a double-digit viewership rating of 12 percent on its sixth episode.
It also topped the TV-OTT integrated hot topic drama category for two consecutive weeks.
According to a survey released by Fundex on July 4, the official platform service of Good Data Corporation, an institution specializing in K-content analysis, "King the Land's" popularity score rose to 58.8 percent.

On its second week on air, "King the Land" ranked first on the list of Most Buzzworthy Dramas. In addition to it, SNSD's YoonA and 2PM's Junho occupied the first and second spots, respectively, on the list of Most Buzzworthy Actors.
Lee Junho also topped the July Drama Actor Brand Reputation Rankings, beating top stars Kim Tae Ri and Kim Tae Hee. His on-screen partner YoonA also managed to enter the list and ranked twelfth.
Meanwhile, the idol-actor made a special appearance on Netflix's newly-released series "Celebrity." His cameo is even praised by former co-star Park Gyu Young, who headlined the K-drama.
