The second half of "D.P." season 2 delivered an unexpected turn of events after Jung Hae In, Goo Kyo Hwan, and their team were determined to put an end to the harassment and abuse within the military.
Helmed by Han Jun Hee of "Coin Locker Girl" and "D.P." season 1, the sequel showcased the deeper story of soldiers who experienced misuse of power hierarchy during their mandatory period.
In the 6-episode K-drama, the D.P. team, whose mission is to bring back deserted soldiers safely, consists of Private Ahn Jung Ho (Jung Hae In), Sergeant Han Yo Yul, (Goo Kyo Hwan), Sergeant First Class Park Bum Goo (Kim Sung Kyun), and Captain Lim Ji Sup (Son Seok Koo).
Besides the original cast members, "D.P." season 2 also featured new characters, including Ji Jin Hee, Kim Ji Hyun, and more.
'D.P.' Season 2 Episode 4 Recap
Due to the incident caused by Kim Ru Ri, the military and the government have been receiving mixed reactions from the public and media.
However, the army headquarters wanted to clean out the mess, leading to Lieutenant Colonel Seo Eun's discharge from her position.
In the latter part of the story, Ahn Joon Ho handed over the USD to Sergeant Park as evidence to the court. However, he was imprisoned for leaking substantial information.
On the other hand, Seo Eun was happy that the court accepted the plaintiff's claim regarding compensation against the state. However, they haven't released any verdicts yet since the trial was ongoing.
In the latter part of "D.P." season 2, Private Ahn Joon Ho was summoned to visit the front gate of the military. Here, he was thrilled to see Cho Suk Bong recovered, hinting that the possible upcoming season 3 would focus on his case and that he might be standing in as the witness.
