Namgoong Min and Ahn Eun Jin's historical K-drama soared to another notable success as "My Dearest" Episode 8 aired.
As the MBC series heads into its final week, the 10-episode K-drama is set to bid goodbye with impressive viewership.
Helmed by Kim Sung Yong of "My Healing Love" and "The Veil," "My Dearest" depicts the story of an unexpected romance between a mysterious warrior who doesn't believe in love and a noblewoman who longs for her one and only.
Namgoong Min plays as Lee Jang Hyuk, a skilled warrior who has a mysterious past. He meets Lady Yoo Gil Chae, played by Ahn Eun Jin, in the middle of the Joseon War.
Joining the duo are Lee Da In as Kyung Eun Ae, Gil Chae's friend, and Nam Yeon Jun's (Lee Hak Joo) fiance.
'My Dearest' Episode 8 Viewership
After hitting the show's first double-digit rating, "My Dearest" episode 8 received another impressive success.
On the other hand, Nam Yeon Jun and Kyung Eun Ae officially got married. Although Gil Chae likes Yeon Jun, she was genuinely happy to see them happy together.
Unfortunately, the fairytale was cut short after Yeon Jun was imprisoned by the King. That was because he refused His Majesty's order and was locked up.
Meanwhile, some of the soldiers under Joseon were killed by the Qing group. Their belongings were put in the box for their relatives to retrieve. Gil Chae was crushed after seeing her red ribbon, which she gave to Jang Hyuk.
On top of the mountain, he wished for the return of Jang Hyuk.
