Viewers were surprised not to see a new episode of "The Killing Vote."
It has been two weeks since the SBS thriller-mystery drama, starring Lim Ji Yeon, Park Hae Jin, and Park Sung Woong, last aired. After fans patiently waited for another week, viewers were dismayed that the broadcast network cancelled episode 8's release.
'The Killing Vote' Halts Episode 8 for Second Time
On October 5, hours away from the supposed broadcast date of "The Killing Vote" episode 8, SBS announced that they would be halting the upcoming episode due to the 19th Asian Games, which runs from September 19 to October 8.
Starring a roster of talented stars, "The Killing Vote" is based on the webtoon that depicts the story of a mysterious killer who goes after criminals who managed to use the law's loophole to escape their crimes.
It features a masked man known as Gaetal who executes the target suspect based on the public's votes.
Meanwhile, Park Hae Jin takes on the role of detective Kim Moo Chan, who is leading the investigation behind Gaetal. His team is working alongside the crime division run by Joo Chan, played by Lim Ji Yeon.
In addition, one of the significant people in the case is Professor Kwon, played by Park Sung Woong. The police are using him as bait to capture Gaetal.
"The Killing Vote" airs every Thursday and is available via SBS, Wavve, and Prime Video.
