JTBC to Release Male Spin-Off of 'Strong Girl' Franchise
In a report, viewers are unsure if they'd like the upcoming "Strong Girl" spin-off.
Although JTBC has yet to officially update fans regarding the details of the "Strong Girl" spin-off, viewers predicted that there would be a lot of changes in the forthcoming series.
After joining the rating race with equally-amazing K-dramas, "Strong Girl Namsoon" episode 16 reached its new personal best.
In a report, Nielsen Korea recorded an average nationwide rating of 10.42 percent. From its personal record of 9.7 during the show's fourth episode, the rom-com series saw a huge increase during the finale.
The spin-off "Strong Girl Namsoon" was headlined by Lee Yoo Mi, Kim Jung Eun, and Kim Hae Sook, who took on the roles of three generations of strong women.
In the K-drama, the trio uses their powers to help eradicate crime, especially the drug trade, in their area.
The villain, Ryu Shi Oh, was played by Byeon Woo Seok, who portrayed the role of Doogo CEO, who was behind the huge drug circulation in Seoul.
The JTBC series also featured Ong Seung Wu as Kang Nam Soon's love interest.
Other than the lead stars, "Strong Girl Namsoon" also showcased a cameo by Park Hyung Sik and Park Bo Young, who headlined "Strong Woman Do Bong Soon."
