In "Love Song For Illusion" episode 6, the two are forced to spend time together. Will sparks fly between them?
Yeon Wol Discovers Sajo Hyun's Secret
After saving Yeon Wol (Hong Ye Ji) from Sajo Yung's (Hwang Hee) assassins, Ak Hee (Park Ji Hoon), the crown prince's alter ego, kisses her to show his affection.
However, Sajo Hyun wakes up and takes over the body, making Yeon Wol realize that there's two personalities inside one body.
Despite the confusing atmosphere between them, Sajo Hyun and Yeon Wol run away to avoid Sajo Yung's men. They arrive at a private house and hide their identities.
They pretend to be a young commoner couple, and are provided by a kind-hearted inn owner. Yeon Wol, who likes him in return, also takes care of him.
Sajo Hyun & Yeon Wol Go On Separate Ways
Unbeknownst to her, Sajo Hyun has already fallen for her before Ak Hee even professed his love for her.
The crown prince is even jealous of the two, making him wary of Yeon Wol. Sajo Hyun then pushes him away, creating a regretful atmosphere.
Sajo Hyun returns to the palace to take over his father's throne while Yeon Wol comes back to the assassin group she originally joined.
Because of this, Ak Hee explodes with anger after he didn't get the chance to appeal his heart to the other, or even say goodbye to her.
Sajo Hyun Finally Claims The Throne
Sadly, the people begin an uprising and plan to oust Sajo Hyun. As the government gets attacked, the trauma comes back.
Alarmed, Yeon Wol rescues him. All of Sajo Hyun's resolve crumbles, and asks her to stay by his side as a concubine.
Crown princess Geum Hwa (Ji Woo) also helps Sajo Hyun ascend to the throne by revealing that the needle used to kill the king belongs to Sajo Yung's mother.
At the end of episode 6, Sajo Hyun finally becomes the king, raising tension as to what will happen between the new ruler, his alter ego Ak Hee, the queen consort Geum Hwa and concubine Yeon Wol.
